Setting Yourself Up To Win

Setting Yourself Up To Win

Today I feel like crap, despite fighting it like a mad woman this thing got me…a throat like I’m swallowing razor blades, a cough that’s keeping me up all night, a headache of epic proportions and body aches that aren’t much fun. And I’m not a good sick person. I’m impatient and irritable and just want my health back pronto! BUT the week ahead excites me A fabulous new client at 7am tomorrow. More planning and creating content for my upcoming events. Kicking off this months training in the Anti-Hustle Society which just happens to be WRITE AND SELF PUBLISH YOUR FIRST BOOK….cannot wait to get that started! More coaching sessions. Some video reshoots for my Kickass Academy. And LOT’S of awesome training this week including 2 boxing sessions with my new coach (I am going it if kills me!). There’s a good chance I’m not going to be well this week but I still want to kick ass in my business and outside of it so today I set myself up to win for the week ahead. All of my meals a prepped. My “to do” list is written up on my whiteboard ready for me to start putting line’s through the items first thing tomorrow morning. Sometimes you don’t feel like it. Sometimes it feels easier to let things slide and hope for the best. Sometimes it takes a monumental effort to set yourself up to win. But if you don’t do it anyway, you’re setting yourself up to fail. So…take today and use it to get your ducks in a row so that when Monday morning...
Who’s Controlling Your Life, Fear or You?

Who’s Controlling Your Life, Fear or You?

This morning my workday began (like most) with checking to see what FB Messages had come in overnight from my clients along with any enquires. During a conversation with a client she mentioned that she wished she had a vacuum cleaner to remove her mental “crap” because she keeps letting in back in. She then mentioned that maybe she needed hypnosis. Can you relate? Can you relate to the feeling of moving forwards and making great strides only to be tripped up by your own crap when you least expect it?? I’m sure you can because it happens to the best of us. My advice to my client was this. The crap is ALWAYS going to be there in some form or another so the end game is NOT about living a crap-free life (as if that’s ever going to happen!!) but instead to make a decision about whether or not you’ll let the mental crap rule your actions (or inaction). The women you see succeeding around you have their own mental crap, we all do BUT the difference is that we don’t let it hold us back. Instead we recognise mental crap for what it is…our ego wanting to keep us safe within our comfort zone….and we forge ahead regardless. We focus on what we want instead of what we fear. We subdue fear with action….LOT’s of action. And we continue to look for evidence that everything is working in our favour….our past successes, the other women ahead of us who have shown us what’s possible and all of the small signs that show up along the way...
Health, Wealth and a Life Well Lived – Keeping it Simple

Health, Wealth and a Life Well Lived – Keeping it Simple

Human’s are exceptional at complicating their crap. Let’s take getting in shape for example…… How many women do you know keen to drop the extra roll around their middle? The simplest, most uncomplicated way to do this would be to make the decision to drop the muffin top and get on with the tasks of moving more and eating less crap but HELL’S NO!….THAT is too freaking SIMPLE. Instead the process looks more like this. MUST research THE BEST program on the planet for my specific goals…..start said program and decide after 3 days…NOPE….this is NOT the program for me….there MUST be a better one…let me research some more. THEN there’s the thesis level research that goes into the “proper” way to eat for said goal. Because it’s all too hard to understand and follow the whole thing get’s tossed like last weeks salad. Only to be undertaken again (in exactly the same manner) 6 months later. You know it!! Business is the same. Women can take the simplest and easiest (for example) lead magnet strategy and turn it into an operation that would rival the planning that goes into a moon walk expedition. MONTHS can pass with zero result. I have a gorgeous client right now who has had a flying start to our time together with new clients and leads coming in at great speed. At one point in our coaching call yesterday she said she thought she should do a facebook group challenge. I asked her one simple question…..WHY?? Her leads are great, she’s picking up clients at a good speed…what would be the point in...
If You Want Next Level Success, Fight For It!

If You Want Next Level Success, Fight For It!

Here’s what I know about next level success… You have to fight for it. But not in the way you might think. Sure…there are the usual “failures” and inevitable wrong turns but the biggest battle many of us will face is an internal one. That shitty internal battle between belief and doubt. Knowing we’re destined for greatness, feeling invincible because we’re on the right path…KNOWING our highest vision is soon to be reached. And then doubting every bloody thing! Is this the right thing? What if it fails? What if I’m not good enough? What if I just can’t make it happen??? This internal battle is about as fun as pulling nose hairs. It’s also unnecessary. Because if we REALLY want it, and we want it for the right reasons it’ll happen. You’ll pull it off and you’ll be beating yourself up for worrying for nothing! Want to know how I tame the beast? I choose to look at facts over feelings. Feeling – I’m scared it will fail…and pretty much every version of that same sentiment. Fact – When I want something badly and I’m aligned I ALWAYS get the result I want. Fact – I’ve been down this road a million times before and the outcome is always the same…I win…so why would this time be any different? Fact – I’m a risk taker, this is who I am, it’s what I do, shying away from risk does NOT make me happy….it makes me BORED! Fact – Other people are doing this thing and smashing it, this means I can too…better. Feelings distract you from your end...
