Be unapologetically, YOU.

Be unapologetically, YOU.

What set’s any of us apart from the people around us is our unique take on the world…the opinions we have formed over a lifetime. Too many women are afraid to truly own who they really are (or want to be) and instead settle for becoming a beige version of themselves….because it’s safe. Be unapologetically YOU (unless you’re an A-hole of course). Get to know yourself…REALLY know yourself. Learn to love yourself….REALLY love yourself..warts and all. Embrace what makes you unique and special and don’t be afraid to rock the boat. It’s ok to have strong opinions and even stronger convictions so go for it, find out what it is you stand for in this life. But ALWAYS remember to temper honesty with kindness. 10 Ways to get the Most out of Your Business Coach.

10 Ways to get the Most out of Your Business Coach.

One of the smartest business decisions you can make is hiring a coach to support you in your endeavor to build an empire. I’m honestly blown away whenever I speak to a business woman who’s in the struggle and discover she’s never had a coach. I can’t help but think, “WOW, boy you’ve just done things the hard (and usually long) way!” I’m a coach and I’ve also been coached many, many times over the past 15 years so I know a thing or two about the subject. We (coaches) can see around the corners you can’t see around just yet, we keep your bigger vision in mind while you struggle with the detail and point you back on course when you try to take a different path when the going gets tough, but in my opinion the best coaches are the ones who help you grow into a bigger, badder, better version of your already awesome self. An even better coach will expand your thinking in ways that will blow your mind and hold your hand while you adjust to this new found level. While a great coach is super important, knowing how best to use your coach is even more important! I dread to think of the money I wasted on coaching simply because I didn’t know how to best use my coach. So if you think you’re coach is awesome but aren’t really moving forward, maybe it’s because you’re not utilizing your coach effectively. Coaches are human and while we pride ourselves on our ability to get our clients from A to B using whatever tactics...
Why am I more excited by the possibility than the guarantee?

Why am I more excited by the possibility than the guarantee?

Why am I more excited by the possibility than the guarantee? Because I love the thrill of hedging my bets based on my intuition and instincts and seeing if they pay off. I love to figure stuff out and find a way. If success were certain life would be very boring!! I think it was last week I read a quote by UFC fighter Ronda Rousey where she said that in her locker room before a fight no-one was allowed to joke around and be lighthearted. She wants to fully embrace the pressure and stress and anxiety that comes pre-fight. She has learned to USE this instead of fight it or find relief from it. As a past fighter I found that so interesting. It not only got me thinking about my fighting days but about flipping perspective on a number of things and this is one of them. As entrepreneurs we all stress and worry when we’re about to launch, that’s part of the process. I am now really good at rolling with it during launch (in fact this time round I’ll be holidaying in Thailand!!) and I take things in my stride far better than I ever have before. But do I EMBRACE it? CAN I embrace the stress and anxiety? Yep, I can. And the more I reflected the more I could see that these days I was in fact doing that, looking forward to the hustle and bustle of a launch,to thinking on my toes as things unexpectedly pop up, having to stretch myself to reach targets etc. It makes me feel alive. I hadn’t...
